Developed by BJB’s R&D department and Opus, assisted by Texas Tech Chemical Engineering department, we have been successfully providing In-Situ nitrogen generation since 1994 to a wide range of satisfied customers including the United States Air Force, National Transportation Safety Board, EXXON/Mobil, Plains and BP.

 

IN-Situ units for pipeline applications are PNG-I and PNG-II.

 

PNG-I unit operates at 0 – 185 psig and generates 200 – 500 scfm of -20 deg F dew point with 95% to 99% purity.

 

PNG-II unit operates at 0 – 500 psig and generates 600 – 1200 scfm of -40 deg F dew point with 95% to 99% purity.

 

BJB/Opus is continuously developing In-Situ nitrogen generation methods to service larger pipeline systems.
